Wines developed with the greatest respect for grape varieties and terroirs
The activity of Fonjallaz in the Lavaux Vineyard dates back to the 16th century and is the oldest family business in Switzerland. The estate represents 35 hectares which are vinified on the property.
The encavage is in white for a little less than two thirds, coming from chasselas and a little Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from the vineyard on the terrace of Lavaux. The third in red comes from different grape varieties; Pinot Noir, Gamay, Diolinoir, Robert Plant, Guarantee, Gamaret and a little Cabernet Franc …
A unique place with a breathtaking view of the Lavaux and Lake Geneva
Le Clos de la République has one of the most beautiful views of the terraced vineyards of the Lavaux and Lake Geneva and welcomes you from Monday to Saturday noon, but also on Sunday afternoon in fine weather in summer to discover on the spot a large selection of elegant wines.
The area also offers the possibility of holding events, conferences, team buildings and weddings in a unique setting overlooking a breathtaking landscape !
